Stickers are small, cheap and easy to collect. They're easy to create and they're super lightweight, which makes them super cheap to ship. The stickers require very minimal storage and happen to be one of the most popular products on Etsy.

How To Make Sticker Designs

Using a website called Kittl, you can easily create your own stickers. Kittl has a massive library of sticker templates. All you need to do is download Kittl and create an account.

Text Based Stickers

  1. Click on templates

  2. Select Stickers

  3. Click on any sticker template

  4. Download the sticker as it is or edit the design to create your own unique design. (You can change the text, colors, pictures, layout, etc.)

Object Based Stickers

  1. Type in the word of the object you are looking for.

  2. Scroll through the different templates to find the object.

  3. Choose the template

  4. Delete everything within the template except for the object.

  5. Update the colors and design, if needed.

Most designs are very simple and are either some type of two to three word phrase or it's a picture of something.

A lot of sellers on Etsy have their stickers against some type of background. With a website called unsplash.com, you can download an image and place your sticker design on top in Kittl. Add some type of drop shadow to the sticker to give the illusion that the sticker is sitting on top of the image. Do the same exact thing for all your other stickers.

Step By Step

  1. Print out the stickers. From your computer, combine all of the stickers that the customer bought within one Kittl document. To do this, Copy and Paste all the stickers from one document on to your main document. Be sure that the document size is the same size as the sticker paper that you're printing on.

  2. Put your vinyl sticker paper inside of the printer, then go to your computer and click on print.

  3. Cut the stickers out using scissors or you could use a cricket that will cut your stickers flawlessly for you automatically.

  4. Take a rigid Flat Mailer, so that you're stickers don't bend when they're being shipped, seal it up, place the shipping label directly on the flat mailer. The shipping label is handled directly within Etsy. You can buy the label and then print it from Etsy.

  5. Put it inside of your mailbox or have the post office come pick it up from your house completely free.
