1. TikTok

The cool thing is, if you’d like to make money through content where you do show your face, you can grow an account through commonly viral faceless content, and then switch it to a niche you actually enjoy. That way, you will get to make content you love without the struggle of having to post an unrealistic amount of videos you simply don’t have the time to make in order to meet monetization requirements. 

2. Instagram

Contrary to popular belief, Instagram (nor Facebook) does not directly pay its creators.

However, because it’s more organic, it is easier to grow an audience, hence, you can (and should) still use it for content creation as you can lead users from your IG account to your YouTube and/or TikTok account.

You CAN still make money through IG channels like: sponsored posts & brand collabs, affiliate marketing, instagram subscriptions, and badges in live videos; however, they are more complex methods.

On average, YouTube pays about $18 per 1,000 ad views, which translates to approximately $3 to $5 per 1,000 video views.

Creators can also earn money through sponsorships, channel memberships, and other monetization methods. To qualify for monetization, creators must join the YouTube Partner Program, requiring at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past 12 months.

P.S. With volume and consistency, that is not a high bar. And you will see ways below that will make you into a posting BEAST.

4. ASMR - while often not valuable or relatable, this type of content guarantees high watch times and is a great idea to enter monetization programs that have a minute-long video requirement for payouts. 

5. Fails/Funny Moments - this type of content is very shareable and can generate a lot of comments. You can post anything from funny cat videos to proposals gone wrong. To meet longer time requirements, you can make funny video compilations.

1. Check 10-20 accounts in your niche and see what their best-performing content is. Let this lead you instead of trying to guess or assume what type of content will make you go viral.

2. Get a tool like OpusClip to make short-form content for you from long videos. All you need is the video URL. For example, you can link a long podcast and it will make as many short-form videos as you’d like, rank them based on potential for virality, and even give you the captions to use!

3. Use a cross-posting tool like Buffer to post a piece of content on ALL your desired social media platforms at the same time. You can surely post everything yourself, but you’ll soon notice that when you have to post at least 3 times a day on each platform, you’d rather not.

You can grow multiple accounts at the same time, as the effort required to actually make the content is minimal. 

Getting paid by social media platforms for content making is already great, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
